Together, We Can Develop the First Early Detection Test for Ovarian Cancer

In memory of Amy, we are partnering with Cleveland Clinic to
change the fact that no early detection test exists.

There is Not an Early Detection Test for Ovarian Cancer-yet

It took over 100 years to develop tests like the pap smear and mammogram. That's why ongoing support is vital.

Research takes time

Research takes time

Developing tests like the pap smear took over a century. It’s a long journey.

Monthly support

Monthly support

Weather it’s $1 or $1,000 a month, every dollar pushes research forward. Monthly donations will save lives.

Donors over dollars

Meet amy

On July 13, 1964, the world welcomed Amy Louise Daniels, a remarkable person who was born with the BRCA-1 gene, which causes carriers to have a significant risk of developing ovarian and breast cancer. From the beginning, she faced a daunting destiny linked to this gene.

During the time that I knew her, Amy often questioned why she had to bear such a burden. My response was always the same: to help save lives. I would tell her what I believe to be true: “GOD chose you because he knew you would be the right person to handle this knowledge and to use it to help others around you.”

About Amy’s Foundation

Amy’s Foundation was established with the primary goal of fulfilling Amy’s wish to develop a highly effective early detection test for ovarian cancer as well as cancers related to the BRCA 1 and BRCA 2 gene mutations. The foundation aims to identify these cancers at a stage when they are still localized and treatable, thereby increasing the likelihood of curing them before they have the chance to spread or advance to a more severe stage. By focusing on early detection, Amy’s Foundation strives to make a significant impact on survival rates and overall outcomes for individuals affected by these specific types of cancers.
